What is CrossFit and how is it different to a normal gym?

 

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more!

CrossFit is different to a normal gym in that an instructor runs every class; we monitor all of our athletes and devise programs that can be suited to your ability and fitness level- that's the best thing about CrossFit.

 

What is our beginners program?

We ask that everyone new to CrossFit completes our Beginners program before starting. In the beginners program we assess your mobility, test your fitness and give you exercises and stretches to help improve your movement. At Wolfe Den we follow the rule of Mechanics, Consistency and THEN intensity.

Our Beginners program comprises of 6 sessions, spread out over two weeks, each 1-hour in duration. These sessions are completed in a small group environment Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7pm (WDCF VIC location) or 6:30pm (WDCF 4802 QLD location).

Once you have completed these six sessions we then give you two weeks of FREE training! You can come to as many classes as you like, during the times/days that suit you!

The cost for the Beginners program is $200pp. There is no obligation to join and we have no lock in contracts!
